As the cargo variant of the M939 5-ton 6x6 truck series, the M923 entered service in 1983. It is capable of hauling troops or 10,000 lbs of cargo off-road. With over 44,000 vehicles produced, they continue to serve the U.S. military in a number of roles alongside the newer FMTV series.

This model was designed by Henry Weaver and is produced by Brick Battlefield.
